Do you have a burning desire? How bad do you want that house, that car that range, that opportunity? Burning desire to win is essential to success and attaining great heights in life. One must realise that all who have accumulated great fortunes/ wealth first did a certain amount of dreaming, hoping, wishing, desiring and planning before they acquired it, its find to do all of those things I have listed but again I will ask how bad do you want it? The reason why many people keep late night mastering their crafts is as a result of burning desire to achieve a goal.
Those of us in this race for riches should be encouraged to know that this dynamic world in which we live is demanding new ideas, new innovations, not just innovations but disruptive innovation, new ways of doing things, new leaders, new inventions, new methods of marketing, new books, new literature, new applications for computers, new cures for diseases and new approaches to every aspect of business, new way of life, for a country like Nigeria new outlook on power supply. The practical dreamers have always been, and will always be, the pattern-makers of civilisation in this century no two ways about it. We who desire to accumulate riches should remember that the real leaders of the world have always have people who harnessed, and put into practical use, the intangible, unseen forces of unborn opportunity indebted in their desire. The turning point in the lives of those who succeed usually comes at the moment of some crisis, through which they are introduced to their “other selves” that usually lead them to do a self analysis checked. That’s the only way their names can last as long as time endures because they dreamed and translated their dreams into organised thought. No one is ready for a thing until he believes he can acquire it. Open-mindedness is essential for belief as long as human use computer I don’t think the name bill gate will ever go into extinction because he provided a solution to one of the biggest problem of humanity whether you are a fan of him or not. Closed minds do not inspire faith, courage or belief. Remember, no more effort is required to aim high in life, to demand abundance and prosperity, than is required to accept misery and poverty. A firm belief that you are an excellent person, a unique person who deserves nothing but the best is the initiator of actualisation of success.
Like I said before Set aside time each day to be alone and undisturbed, try and remember old success and Celebrate each success, Clear direction of where you want to go, Your image, reactions to life and decisions are completely within your control because if you think you are a success it is totally on you and if you feel like you can never be successful you are dame right so the choice is yours but I will advise you to choose success because the pains and hurdles of failure is expensive. The whole course of things goes to teach us faith that we need to obey. Affliction is not a liability but an asset of great value like the wise man said delay isn’t denial. Endeavour to plant an attitude of faith to be successful; nothing is difficult for a person who backs desire with an enduring faith. There is nothing, right or wrong, which belief plus burning desire cannot make real. If Mother Nature bends to the will of desire, is it logical that mere men can defeat a burning desire? Strange and imponderable is the power of the human mind! We do not understand the method by which it uses every circumstance, every individual, and every physical thing within its reach as a means of transmuting desire into its physical counterpart. Perhaps science will uncover this secret in the future but for now we are still left in the dark. Mixing faith with desire through persistent, continuous effort over a period of years develops belief. The power of desire backed by faith has power to lift people from lowly beginnings to places of power and wealth. Nature wraps up in the impulse of strong desire “that something” which recognise no such word as impossible and accepts no such reality as fatigue. Of course all of us have different goals and dreams for ourselves, but have you ever asked yourself this question can I give all it takes to achieve what I have set out to achieve? It might seem superfluous at first, but it is only when we really, really want something, that we’ll do whatever is necessary to achieve it. So therefore, in an hypothetical, overall scheme, desire is the one stage that links thoughts and actions together: your thoughts breeds your commitment (desire) and your desire breeds action.
Often times I see people either working in this principle ignorantly or abusing this principle but that is all it takes to become successful if properly utilise.
Do you remember the name Columbus? He dreamed of an unknown shore, the Wright brothers imagined a machine that could fly through air, and Henry Ford envisioned a carriage without horses. These people had two things in common: first, they were resilient enough to overcome other people’s critiques and repeated failures in their attempts. Second, they had a vision that was clear enough and that, with the combination of a burning desire, inevitably led them to success.
Therefore, it is only when you completely burn all the bridges that are holding you to the past and start thinking in a different way that you can win in life. You can have either excuses or results, not both so you got to choose one. Hence, be willing to cut them off before they become a real impediment to your persona Faith, in Hill’s words, means convincing yourself that your goal is achievable. And faith can be trained and improved through self-suggestion. If you believe in something or have a specific end in mind, practice convincing your mind of the opportunity to realise that goal, and after a while, your mind will start to subconsciously act on behalf of your belief system. In a nutshell, you become what you think about.
